The Faculty of Liberal Arts offers degrees at the bachelor’s level and the Graduate School of Arts offers both master’s degrees and doctorates. The undergraduate departments grant degrees in English Language and Literature, Japanese Language and Literature, History, Human Relations, International Studies, Philosophy, Psychology, and Education (Education, Primary Education). There are special courses for foreign students in Japanese Language and Culture.
Students are expected to develop global awareness and willingness to respond to a rapidly changing world.
